- The seventh instructor debriefing round has been summarised. Ideas like the use of word clouds for student feedback, interactive git sessions, and other tips are shared.
- Azalee Bostroem and her fellow instructors provided great feedback about a workshop run at the American Astronomical Society. They talk about instructor interaction before and during workshops, and allow helpers to teach a 15 minute section with great success.
- Jon Udell's latest update on Scientific collaboration via the Internet has been published by PLOS.
- Ian Hawke demonstrates how he uses Jupyter to test a small numerical program in a series of articles.
- Eight workshops were run last week: University of Texas at Arlington, Arizona State University, University of California, Santa Barbara, Northwestern University, University of Virginia, Imperial College London, NCAR Foothills Lab, Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute.
- Several workshops have been confirmed for the next few months. Upcoming workshops can be viewed on our website. Newly added workshops are indicated with "*".
